Incline Village Junior Golf Program Sign-ups and Ice Cream Social

The Incline Village Junior Golf Program will hold sign-ups on Saturday, June 4th from 10 am to 1p.m. at the Chateau at Championship Course driving range.  To get everyone in the summer spirit, sign-ups will be accompanied by an ice cream social and games.

The Junior Golf Program begins Monday, June 20, and continues every Monday through August 8.  It’s available to junior golfers aged 5-17, and the cost varies from $50-85 based on age and skill level.  Each participant will receive one Incline Village logo golf shirt, as well as water and a snack every Monday.  Space is limited so you’ll want to reserve yours early. 

The program focuses on skills acquired, participation, behavior and service.  Children will receive a “scorecard” to measure their skills in the following: rules and etiquette, putting, chipping, irons and woods, proper attire, homework and care of the golf course.  Any participant achieving 100% will receive a reward at the end of the season.

Parents are encouraged to purchase a Junior Golf Pass for $99, which allows play at the Mountain Course without restrictions, or $175, which allows play at both the Mountain and Championship Courses with restrictions.

The Parent/Junior Tournament will also be held in August 2011 at the Mountain Course.  Time, date and format for this tournament will be determined by June 30.  If you are interested in playing in this event let us know as space is limited for this one too.
